I invite you to take part in the "International Park Forum for Industry Professionals: Park and Public Space Management" to be held in the Hero City of Volgograd on August 9-10, 2019. The organizer is the Association of Parks supported by the Volgograd city administration. The main event of the Russian park industry will be held in our city for the first time. We are glad that Volgograd is on a par with such cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, which use advanced technologies to create a comfortable urban environment.

Leading industry experts, park managers, heads of city and regional administrations, ecologists, landscape architects, designers and journalists will meet at one site. In addition, the forum will be attended by well-known experts from Europe.

In addition to the business part of the forum, we offer our guests sightseeing tours around Mamayev Kurgan, the new embankment and other public spaces, as well as a boat trip across the Volga River.

The State Public Institution of Moscow "United Directorate “Mosgorpark” supports the initiative to hold the III International Park Forum for Industry Professionals on August 9-10, 2019 in Volgograd. The forum will also be attended by specialists from Moscow.

To date, the capital's parks are a reference point for the entire country. I am sure that the Moscow experience will be extremely useful for our colleagues from the regions of Russia, and holding such an event will contribute to further formation and development of new park areas not only in Volgograd, but also in other cities.

The Parks and Squares Directorate of Kazan has been a member of the Association of Parks since 2018. During this time, the Association's team has repeatedly organized various professional park events in Moscow, and we were pleased to participate in them.

The decision to hold the III International Park Forum in Volgograd is more than relevant. The practice of exchanging experience between specialists in our industry should be carried out throughout the country, so that representatives of other regions have the opportunity to study the intercommunication tools of management and development of public spaces under different conditions.

We support the initiative of the organizing committee and are confident that the forum will be held at a high level.

I would like to welcome you to the International Park Forum for Industry Professionals and thank you for your attention to the activities and projects of the Association of Parks, NPO. I would like to thank Vitaly Viktorovich Likhachev, the head of Volgograd, for the opportunity to hold the forum in Volgograd, as well as Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Dunaev, the director of "United Directorate “Mosgorpark”, for his assistance in inviting the heads of the leading parks of Moscow to the forum.

It is the first time the Association of Parks holds the International Park Forum in the region. One of the most important tasks of the Association is the exchange of experience between industry specialists in creating a comfortable urban environment and the development of park spaces throughout the country. That is why our initiative was supported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation.
